The Project Manager deploys high value technology solutions and business processes across the Rush System for Health. The Project Manager works as a member of the Rush Legal team to implement and support Risk, Regulatory, and Compliance applications. With guidance from the System Director of Risk and Technology Management, the Project Manager analyzes problems in terms of Rush workflows and functionality. The Project Manager leads the roll-out of new functionality by participating in end-user design/validation sessions, user acceptance testing, training module development, integrated testing, and overall program planning. The Project Manager supports the application by sharing on-call support, monitoring help desk tickets, and identifying enhancement and optimization solutions. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. Position Responsibilities: Assists in implementing technology solutions for the Rush System for Health. Configures the enterprise risk management platform and other applications with assistance. Assists with system testing and execution. Facilitates process and workflow discussions. Documents user requirements. Maintains system documentation and develops system procedures. Applies project planning and project management methodologies. Maintains project plans, task lists, issues lists, and status reports. Tracks issues and problems through to their completion. Learns and understands user department practices and procedures. Facilitates development of policies and procedures. Coordinates short duration projects, monitors project process, progress, and results. Provides onsite user support during implementations. Applies systems development methodology to solve problems. Follows change management processes. Upgrades professional knowledge and collaborates with colleagues. Handles multiple assignment simultaneously. Learns and understands user department practices and procedures. Position Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science, business, or a related field required. At least three to five years of business experience required. Experience working in a hospital or other healthcare organization. Understanding of and exposure to enterprise risk management best practices preferred. Experience working in healthcare regulatory and compliance preferred. Experience working in multiple industries and business areas preferred. Project management experience leading organizational or process change. Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines. Advanced organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills. Command of common office tools.
