Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. ASP.NET MVC Developer for a remote, 1-year+ contract position in Fort Worth, TX.

While this position is remote, selected candidate will be expected to attend monthly meetings onsite in Fort Worth, so individual should be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Individual should have at least 7 years of full life cycle application development experience using C# on the .NET Framework. Individual will join a team of .NET/Web Developers responsible for the development of new and enhancement of existing enterprise applications.

The position will consist of C#/ASP.NET MVC middle-tier, Web API (REST) and SQL Server database development. This is part of a large-scale modernization project, moving from C#/ASP.NET Web Forms to C#/ASP.NET MVC/.NET CORE. There may be some initial programming in support of the current platform, but programming will mainly be tied to the move to C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and Angular. Individual should have prior experience integrating with and accessing data using Web API/RESTful Web Services. Individual must have strong T-SQL development skills (eg, writing stored procedures, building out tables, etc.). Should be well-versed in design structure for MVC and object-oriented techniques. Experience with Angular and .NET Core are pluses for this position, but not required. Healthcare industry experience is also a plus. Candidate will need to possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be able to interpret detailed technical specifications.
