To satisfy our growing operations and upcoming projects, we are looking for an Assistant General Manager-Rail Rolling Stock across USA.

Based in Los Angeles, California you will report to the General Manager. You will have the principal responsibility for leading, managing and coordinating the Contractor's performance for all railroad rolling stock including locomotive, cab cars, trailer cars.

In your role you will:

- Support the effort to provide Work Directive Proposals specifically for the categories for rolling stock modifications.;
- Work closely and collaboratively with the AGM Information Technology and the AGM Procurement Inventory Subcontracted Support services to achieve a highly efficient, streamlined, easily tracked and retrieved digital paperless working business environment with the Authority;
- Work with public agencies preferably commuter railroads that are subject local, state and federal funding requirements and regulations and must be able to manage budgets and deliver superior service under budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or related field;
- You have twenty (20) years of broad and deep, progressively responsible Passenger, Commuter or Class 1 Railroad with progressively responsible experience ultimate reaching the Division Mechanical Engineer, Division Mechanical Maintenance Manager level covering most facets of planning, budgeting, inspecting, maintaining, rehabilitating, modifying invoicing, material procurement, reporting, cost containment for a client preferably commuter railroad or Class 1;
- You are proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Programs, rail systems maintenance and train control/signal system software and applications, Enterprise Asset Management/Enterprise Resource Management software and applications to Rail Systems and support facilities;
- You have prior experience that demonstrates accomplishments that enhanced efficiency, accuracy, reliability, timeliness and regarded among peers as a Railroad infrastructure maintenance subject matter expert.
