Experis IT is seeking a Reporting Specialist for a Manager level position with a key client in the Raleigh Durham area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Job Summary:

Our client is currently seeking a Manager of Reporting, Data and Analytics within the Global Sales Operations team. This successful candidate will own the overall deployment and maintenance of a new reporting and data ecosystem. This will include responsibility for the acquisition of data, ensuring data integrity and the creation of reporting and analytics content designed to serve the client's Sales organization.

They will identify reporting needs and opportunities that will give the Sales organization a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with Tableau Desktop and Server, as well as an understanding of Sales and Sales Operations organizations.

This position serves the global sales organization and reports directly to the Director of Global Sales Operations based in Durham, NC. Remote employment will be considered, in which case, occasional travel to corporate headquarters in North Carolina may be required.

The Sales Operations team supports a global Sales organization by providing them with tools and systems that help eliminate redundant or non-value-added tasks from their daily job and gives them the information they need to organize and make decisions. The team also works directly with executive management to provide decision support and ad hoc sales reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation, maintenance and evolution of enterprise-grade, sales-focused data sources and dashboards in Tableau.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to design views and tables to support Tableau data sources.
    • Work with Sales organization leaders to define and design management metrics and reporting.
  • Tableau security and permissions management for Sales Operations site
  • Monitor the overall health and performance of the Sales Operations Tableau site
  • Deliver Tableau training and support for Sales Viewers
  • Ownership of third-party data acquisition:
    • Own vendor relationship with Channel Data Management partner
    • Design and execution of data quality processes
    • Support for onboarding of new distributor partners
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and identify long-term fixes
  • Partner with other functions within the Sales Operations team to help build an integrated, scalable, relevant sales system ecosystem.
    • Advise on data structures and requirements for use in Tableau or other systems
    • Support and execute user acceptance testing of new solutions
  • Create ad hoc reports for management
  • Lead a team of Sales Operations analysts

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in quantitative, analytical or business-focused field
  • 6-8 years professional experience
  • 3 years+ working in Tableau Desktop, creating data sources and dashboards.
  • Experience with row-level security, Tableau permissions and groups
  • Understanding of data structures, data blends/relationships and data design
  • Knowledge and experience with visual best practices and ability to develop visually precise and graphically elegant content
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel
  • Ability to teach and lead team members for technical and professional skills.
  • Detail-oriented combined with an ability to design/refine business processes that lead to improved team productivity and efficiency
  • Intrinsic drive and self-starter, willingness to pitch in wherever needed to help the team and the company be successful
  • Strong method for staying organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in or working closely with Sales Operations
  • Experience delivering training
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry or other manufacturing environment
  • Experience with EDI
