Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans..*About the Director of Environmental Position* As the Director of Environmental, you are responsible for system-wide leadership and oversight of the Company's Environmental Programs. The Director is accountable for implementing processes to ensure the Programs maintain compliance with environmental regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. The Director of Environmental will be instrumental in the successful programs, process, and communication of Colonial's ESG program. This role works with multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions to complex environmental issues in order to manage risk and facilitate responsible informed decision-making to support Company operations and growth opportunities. The environmental regulatory spectrum associated with this position primarily includes water, waste, and air, but additional areas of responsibility include emergency preparedness, right-to-know, risk management, due diligence, and liability management..*What You Get to Do:* + Oversee the development and implementation of environmental regulatory compliance processes associated with the Company's environmental strategies, industry drivers, regulatory demands, and customer requirements. + Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop an Environmental Sustainability Program. + Establish strategic direction, leadership, long-term vision, and objectives necessary to achieve results. + Drive continuous improvement of environmental programs to meet or exceed regulatory requirements. + Ensure effectiveness of Environmental Programs and implement risk mitigation measures, as needed, to drive expected results. + Lead employees through goal development, performance management, workflow processes, standards, procedures, specifications, safety protocols, in addition to building and influence management to affect improvement with communication. + Serve on Incident Management Team or Functional Support Center..*What You Bring to the Table:* + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences or other Natural Science from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education. + Ideally, 10+ years of experience in the Environmental Field and ideally 5+ years in oil and/or gas industry. + Supervisory/Functional Leadership experience. + Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record to drive company and personal vehicles with the ability to travel up to 20% of the time. + Certifications in the following PE, PG, CHMM, and/or REM. + Working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations. + Strong strategic planning, budgeting and business acumen, an innovative thinker, customer focused and results focused. + Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company's core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments. + Self-motivated, have phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth..*Got Extra to Bring?* + Ideally 15+ years of experience in the Environmental Field + Ideally 5+ years in Refined Petroleum Pipeline Industry + Certifications with continuing education requirements. + Advanced knowledge of environmental laws and regulations. + Formal ICS Position-specific Training..*Advantages of Working at Colonial Pipeline Company:* Prosperity, Health, Wellness, and Happiness - Check out Colonial's Total Rewards at*Are you up to the challenge?
