Our Direct Client a Global Technology Company is looking for a Jira Admin

The JIRA Administrator will administer our project tooling, specifically Atlassian JIRA and Atlassian Confluence, and set up custom features, reports, use cases, and
presentation layer. This role will work closely with Project Management, Release Management, Development, QA, and Product Management teams to help
define solutions to drive the execution of our Agile SDLC.
We are looking for a Jira administrator to help migrate our ~ 10000+ person team from CA Agile (Rally) and configure, manage, and enhance Jira and
Confluence tools, including native functionality as well as researching, testing, and implementing plugins for closer integration with our other tools in
our CI/CD Process such as Bitbucket, PagerDuty, and Concourse CI. This role provides challenging opportunities and ample room for critical thinking in building extensible solutions
that meet our unique needs while scaling out to support the daily collaboration of the entire organization.
We are only considering local candidates in Alpharetta, GA area at this time.

Responsibilities

Provide configuration, and administrative support of Atlassian products & plug-ins
Research, test, and implement plugins for Jira and Confluence
Experience with Jira Service Desk.
Support and troubleshoot JIRA
Work with JIRA to enable custom workflows, fields, dashboards, and reports
Create and manage complex JIRA components including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes in JIRA
Experience customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports
Develop interfaces between external tooling and Jira/Confluence infrastructure
Document requirements, solutions, as well as user and support reference guides
Develop specifications and test plans associated with new features or modifications
Provide ongoing user support including troubleshooting and resolution of issues
Basic knowledge and understanding of the software development cycle (Agile methodologies)
Ability to automate and extend base Jira/Confluence functionality, including scripting.
Design and develop customizations and plugins.
Experience developing custom plugins using Java for Jira 7.x and Confluence 6.x.
Experience using/extending REST API using Java for Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of Single Sign-On protocols such as SAML, SAML2.
Experience in customizing the look and feel of Jira Service Desk.
Collaborate with customers, other Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams to collect
requirements and develop solutions to support the daily needs of a rapidly growing business.
Research, test, and implement plugins for Jira and Confluence.
Develop interfaces between external tooling and Jira/Confluence infrastructure.
Manage complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
Configure and enhance multiple Jira Service Desks.
Document requirements, solutions, as well as user and support reference guides.
Develop specifications and test plans associated with new features or modifications.
Confer with and provide support to the technical group.
Provide a communications link between the user and the technical group.
Provide ongoing user support including troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Should have considerable experience on working of DevOps environment
Knowledge on containerization/Kubernetes
Certification for this requirement is mandatory and only one of the following certifications are accepted ACP-100, ACP-400 & ACP-500
Python/Bash/Java Any one of the following programming language
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
3-5 years of hands-on experience in configuration and support of Atlassian products including but not limited to JIRA Software/Core, Jira Service Desk, associated plug-ins, and extensions
Data Center version of Jira experience is mandatory.
Experience configuring JIRA workflows for an agile environment
Solid understanding of the SDLC and project management methodologies
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
Ability to create advanced POC's using Jira post functions
Ability to create complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, security schemes, screen schemes, JIRA vocabulary, permission and notification schemes
Fluency in Confluence including security, spaces, design, integration with JIRA
Strong understanding of business processes and experience leveraging Atlassian Suite to maximize and improve those processes
Strong work ethic with good time management and the ability to work with diverse teams
Experience customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports
Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstration of critical thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
