Major/Essential Functions
Provide clinical services at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Amarillo Psychiatry Clinic
Provide some contractual services should the opportunities be beneficial to the Department
Teach TTUHSC medical students on the Amarillo Campus
Provide some telemedicine services
Be available for consultation/liaison services at the two major hospitals in Amarillo, Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital and Northwest Texas Hospital
Spend protected time for developing a psychiatry residency

Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Preferred Qualifications
Board certified psychiatrist with three to five years of experience, including at least three years of experience training psychiatry residents in order to develop a psychiatry residency program in Amarillo and to serve as the Residency Training Director. Permanent or temporary Texas medical license or eligible for a Texas medical license.

Position will be filled at the appropriate faculty rank based on selected candidates qualifications.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
