Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain operations, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of Warehouse or Fulfillment Operations Management experience, including 3PL supplier management, warehouse/fulfillment management, warehouse automation, and MRP systems. Experience managing remote teams, suppliers, or projects.

Experience leading safety, security, quality, inventory programs in warehouses

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree.

Six Sigma or Total Quality Management or other professional certification.

Experience with executive level engagement. Manufacturing experience.

Experience with matrixed strategy implementation in large and complex organizations.

Experience using a metrics driven approach to identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.

Knowledge of state of the art operations and logistics.

As the Americas Logistics Operations Director, you will be responsible for logistics activities across Americas operations including leadership and operational excellence for warehousing, machine installation, machine decommissioning, reverse logistics, and spares execution, while also supporting warehouse automation, and driving excellence with our extensive and complex 3PL network in the Americas. You will partner closely with the TI/GCD organization to provide warehousing, trade compliance, and transportation activities that support the build out of Google's global compute capacity for Alphabet.

The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as "BizOps", the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. BizOps creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Googles fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.


Provide leadership and continuous improvement for all warehousing, receiving, shipping, machine installation, machine decommissioning, reverse logistics, and supports warehouse automation WMS, robotics, etc. Manage Safety, Security and quality programs for all warehousing.

Establish and maintain strategic supplier management through an extensive complex global 3PL network across the Americas. Ensuring the right metrics are driving the right results for Logistics in serving our stakeholders with speed, efficiency.

Proactively ensure capacity (space), resources, and risk mitigation plans. Contribute data analytics, business case development, presentation skills.

Collaborate with Region Logistics Peers for standardized processes and tools. Listen to stakeholders and take action to make any necessary changes to serve them better.
