About the team:

The Concur Technology Group Program Management Office (CTG PMO) gets to work on all the large cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives focused on product, technology and security that have significant value and/or impact to SAP Concur s business strategy and/or revenue. If you're passionate about solving problems, leading and influencing others while learning the fundamentals of project and change management, then you're in the right place.

What you'll do:

Position Title: SAP Concur iXp Intern - Associate Project Manager

Location: Bellevue, WA

Expected start date to end date: June 2020 - August 2020

In this role, you'll:

  • Interact with cross-functional engineering organizations and teams to help drive project-specific requirements, tasks and change.
  • Learn about the complex dependencies and coordination necessary to define, build and deploy software products, services and related infrastructure.
  • Learn about the common templates, tools and standards that a Program Management Organization (PMO) helps bring to the table.
  • Become familiar with the SAP Concur software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, project prioritization and the artifacts leveraged to successfully deliver quality software.

Who you are:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Candidates should currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree program which is applicable to the position (or equivalent proven experience and/or certifications).
  • Strong technology aptitude that enables conversations all levels of the product and technology organization.
  • Familiar with standard workplace and project tracking tools (O365, Microsoft Project, CRM, conferencing tools, etc.)
  • Strong 1-on-1 and group-based communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability for navigating change and unknown situations.
  • Able to persevere through potentially contentious situations in a professional, courteous and encouraging manner.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies.
  • Able to internalize the SAP Concur core values and consistently demonstrate them to both the team and other business partners.
  • Preferred experience: familiarity with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, SmartSheet, O365, Slack, Skype and/or Zoom.
