The Senior Wealth Management Operations Specialist assists with the oversight of operational and technology support common to the Portfolio Management, Wealth Planning and Wealth Advisory Services teams. Responsibilities include working directly with Client Service Associates, Wealth Advisors, and Senior Management to execute and monitor operational activities for accounts of high net worth individuals, families and corporations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with the implementation of process improvements and technology implementations that are designed to enhance the client experience.
Monitor operational support for WaterOak clients, especially portfolio accounting and reconciliation of client assets, provided by the Investment Operations team and third-party vendors.
Serve as point of escalation to address and minimize issues that could have a negative impact on clients.
Review and ensure the accuracy of WaterOak AUM and client activity reporting used by management team.
Oversee the validation and timely collection of management fees for client accounts.
Perform quality control reviews of client transition activity.
Fulfill requests from Wealth Advisors and Senior Management for various custom reports.
Provide training on portfolio management systems to new employees.
Act as liaison to external custodians to stay informed of current operational requirements and best practices.
Work with internal investment technology teams to understand and benefit from ongoing firm-wide initiatives.
Understand and adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
Perform administrative tasks and special projects as required.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of operations and administration experience in a related industry.
Experience working with order management systems and client relationship management applications (CRM) preferred.
Track record of establishing policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Must be a proactive, self-motivated individual, with an excellent work ethic, and a strong ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
