The Role

As a Squad Leader, Account Opening, you will enable our clients to confidently self-serve digitally by allowing investors to interact with Fidelity in increasingly human ways on the channels that are important to them! You will think strategically, build roadmaps, collaborate across business units and encourage and enable the team to create intuitive and highly engaging omni-channel experiences that enable todays digitally savvy consumer to take control of their finances. This is one of our more sophisticated capabilities and is leading the way to redefine how we deliver digital experiences.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience and/or digital product management
  • A learning and growth mindset with passion for solving customer problems and delivering engaging digital solutions
  • Experience leading software development teams working on Front End applications and APIs
  • Skilled at using data and insights, letting facts lead the way to develop effective strategic product roadmaps
  • Experience deploying digital solutions that impact millions of customers and thousands of associates every year
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development, Design Thinking, Lean Start-Up, is a plus
  • Client-obsessed and dedicated to understanding and learning about client needs and requirements
  • You are comfortable leading, directing, and empowering team members without formal management authority
  • Data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs
  • A platform mindset, building for scale and reuse across multiple experiences
  • You are intellectually curious and love learning new skills and capabilities, eg, Agile principles and technology platforms
  • Ability to look for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks in order to get things done better and faster
  • An aptitude for working across various technology platforms
  • Ability to think and work across various partners across the firm to deliver highly critical initiative keeping in mind re-usability, scalability and yet deliver in time
