PSE's Customer Energy Mgmt & Renewables team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr Product Positioning Manager position!

Job Description

This role will be responsible for developing product positioning strategies to drive adoption and growth of PSE Energy Efficiency Programs. The Sr. Market Analyst will work closely with the program team to develop and clearly articulate product marketing strategy, positioning, target audience, and value propositions to drive business objectives. This person will interface closely with marketing communications to articulate product strategies to enable messaging and tactical execution across channels. The Sr. Market Analyst will be responsible for establishing metrics and tracking success of the strategy and optimization to reach business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conducts research and analyses, using accepted methodologies.
  • Coordinates planning for research and analysis projects.
  • Presents project results, data, or other work products to internal and external audiences.
  • Leads and participates in multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Oversees contractor and consultant work.
  • Oversees development and maintenance of market information and databases.
  • May act as a senior resource for junior staff members and review their work.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and constituents.
  • Develops new stakeholder/constituent relationships.
  • Manages multiple assignments for on-time completion and high quality results.
  • Participates in local, regional and national initiatives or organizations to achieve outcomes consistent with Company's EES goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, planning, public policy, or other relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience in market/program/product analysis, research, or evaluation
  • Relevant utility experience beyond the minimum requirement may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Can work independently to complete complex projects with limited direct supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to synthesize data and other information into clear, actionable deliverables
  • Ability to work well with others, take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other presentation and analytical tools

Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced degree requiring strong statistical, economic or database analysis skills
  • Experience with electric or gas demand-side management program planning, market research, evaluation, regulation, or policy analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAS, statistical analysis and utility billing systems
