USCCredit Union, a dynamic $512 million credit union located steps from USC s University Park campus near Downtown Los Angeles, is looking for an experienced JuniorFull-Stack Developer for its fast-paced IT Department. This position reports directly to the Senior Programmer and is responsible for creating and maintaining the credit union's core business logic, public-facing and internal web applications, as well as Back End systems. The Developer works with stakeholders to gather project requirements, creates service-based applications and makes improvements to existing processes and architecture.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and troubleshooting errors by reading application and server logs, debugging, and testing
Reviewing code committed by other developers, catch mistakes and enforce coding best practices
Creating deployment scripts for continuous integration of deployed code
Developing deep knowledge and proficiency with existing systems and ability to extend and improve them
Working with the Business Intelligence Analyst to build Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines
Writing code through Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures as they relate to USCCU s products and services
The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of two to four years of experience
Possess a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Be knowledgeable in Python/Django and/or C#/ASP. NET
Have experience working directly with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Have expertise with Front End web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
Possess a solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, containerization, and distributed systems
Have experience with some configuration management framework (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Have an eagerness to master unfamiliar technology
Exhibit independence, focus, determination, and strong communication skills
Demonstrate creative problem-solving ability
Pass a pre-employment background and credit check

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined work experience and education as equivalent
Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months
Minimum Field of Expertise: General knowledge of programming and documentation procedures and programming methods and operator instructions. Knowledge of one or more appropriate computer languages.
