Description Our opening for a junior- to mid-level hydrogeologist is your opportunity to help support projects aimed at improving site characterization, soil and groundwater remediation, and water-supply reliability for a variety of public- and private-sector clients. Our projects include a mix of office and fieldwork responsibilities. Office tasks include data interpretation, quantitative modeling using analytical and numerical methods, data visualization, report writing, aiding in the preparation of presentations, and the coordination of logistics for field efforts. Fieldwork tasks generally include drilling oversight, logging soil borings, installing wells/piezometers, sampling various media (e. g., groundwater, soil, and surface water), aquifer testing, documenting activities on site, and directing subcontractors.   • 0-5 years of experience required MS in Hydrogeology, Geology, Groundwater Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Environmental Engineering with a groundwater emphasis required.
  • Minimum GPA of 3. 0 required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally required
  • Comprehensive understanding of basic principles of hydrogeology preferred
  • Familiar with contaminant transport processes preferred
  • Familiar with ArcGIS software preferred
  • Proficient with at least one computer programming language preferred
