Job Summary:
Operator is responsible for safely operating motor grader in a mass earthwork and grading project.

Safely operate heavy equipment assigned
Ensure quality of done is at highest level
Adhere to all plant safety, MSHA/OSHA standards, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operation areas at all times
Work as a team to help meet or exceed production
Performs other duties as required 

High school diploma or GED

Dependable and predicable attendance is required
Must be able to work with little supervision
Able to operate dozer at a safe pace, continuously for long periods of time
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required
Work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme ambient temperatures of the area: heat, cold, dust, wet and dry
Must be able to work in a safety-conscious manner

Familiarity with MSHA regulations
Working knowledge of aggregate production and associated equipment
Familiarity with mass earthmoving best practices and principle

Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
