Production Support Engineer, Lead
Responsibilities
- Utilize proven systems, Scripting and dev skills to execute highly complex tasks related to hardware and software component analysis, integration and incident resolution.
- Provide on call support for triage incidents.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, business, project management teams and ensure application infrastructure is up to date.
- Push for improvement to monitoring, application stability and speed.
- Asses initial severity, gather impacts, create tickets, engage support teams and escalate issues properly as they arrive.
- Real Time restoration and triaging of issues impacting application and infrastructure services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Solid experience with production support, SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, etc.
- 8+ years experience supporting application and infrastructure upgrades (WebSphere, Windows, Linux, database, etc.).
- 2+ years experience supporting web applications (Java, .NET, Oracle, SQL).
- 2+ years experience with Jira and Service Now.
- Solid understanding of Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Any experience with Jenkins and GitHub is a plus.
