QA Lab Sensory & Microbiology Technician Lead

REFRESH your career by joining our exceptional Quality Assurance team! Coca-Cola Consolidated, the largest bottler in the U.S., is looking for a QA Lab Sensory & Microbiology Technician Lead!

Things you should know about working as a QA Lab Sensory & Microbiology Technician Lead:

The Sensory and Microbiology Technician Lead will be responsible for the daily execution of the plants Sensory program, management and execution of the plant's Microbiology program and execution of the plant's Sanitation program to meet company compliance, regulatory and ISO requirements.

What would success look like?

• Adherence to sensory requirements as outlined by The Coca-Cola Company

• Management and execution of sensory sample preparation for panelist testing

• Calibration and diagnostic maintenance of the Alpha-Mos analytical system

• Collect and analyze sensory data

• Coordinate sampling and analysis of micro samples according to company requirement

• Assist in inventory control of micro and sanitation processing aids and supplies

• Management of sanitation and pre-operational validation activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Advanced understanding of a laboratory environment

• Lab experience with micro suction manifolds and micro funnel plating techniques

• Lab experience with micro-organism identification

• High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)/Gas Chromatography (GC) Technology

• An understanding of plant sanitation practices

• Advanced math and problem-solving skills

• Ability to make quick decisions and work in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Minimum 4-year degree in a science related field
