Prestigious Fortune 500 Company is seeking an experienced Splunk Engineer to join our team to design, plan, install, maintain, configure, and integrate enterprise systems management, infrastructure tools systems and related software. You will be engineering, maintaining and monitoring a large Splunk environment deployed on systems running on premises in Linux, Windows platforms with a direction to moving to the cloud.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • >2 years of Splunk Enterprise experience- architecting, configuring, deploying, and customizing the tool (both in supporting the application and utilizing the application for information security monitoring, incident response, and compliance)
  • Demonstrated ability to be a leader through effectively communication not only with other engineers but with leadership, product managers, stakeholders, designers, and anyone who might have a need to express relevant ideas
  • proven skills in systems management and experience with implementation of log management and analytics products (Splunk)
  • architect and deploy Splunk enterprise implementations in medium to large size customers
  • expertise creating visulizations in Splunk and cutom queries to manipulate views
  • solid knowledge of other monitoring tools such as IBM Tivoli Products, MS SCOM or other open source tools
  • clear knowledge of a Scripting language and UNIX command line
  • solid experience in cyber security/information security SIEM corresponding to maintenance, administration, and utilization of tools a plus
  • ability to utilize advanced systems, Scripting and developer skills to develop methodologies to implement, integrate, and maintain new and emerging enterprise-wide systems hardware/software technology components
  • strong verbal and written facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge and experience to complete all job responsibilities (listed below)



  • oversee, design, develop and integrate solutions to improve the overall client experience
  • drive collaboration with peers to manage efforts with our Splunk and other Log Management solutions
  • utilize proven systems, Scripting and developer skills to execute on highly complex tasks related to hardware/software technology component analysis, integration, and incident and problem resolution
  • oversee and configure effective end-to-end system performance and reliability monitoring and provide data and alerts to help avoid issues or to troubleshoot outages should they occur
  • analyze, administer, support, problem solve, maintain the environment overall
  • design, plan, install, maintain, configure, and integrate enterprise systems management, infrastructure tools systems and related software
