The HR Service & Operations Manager is a critical role in the HR organization responsible for providing E2E HR service, process and operations leadership, optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR organization's internal operations to deliver a great experience for our end customer- our Associates and Line Managers. The primary goal of the incumbent in this role is to deliver a pipeline of continuous improvement to our HR processes, monitor and improve the performance through reporting and analytics of our HR operations, and build and deliver a pipeline of Automation initiatives within our processes and services. A primary responsibility of the incumbent in this role is to partner with the MGS HR Global Process, HR and broader Mars Global Services teams to develop and bring innovating thinking that aligns with the Mars Five Principles and signature culture.

  • HR Operations Performance Management: Lead HR operations performance reviews through period reporting, analytics, demand forecasting and partnership with functional teams to identify root cause service issues and identify sustainable solutions to improve service performance. Generates meaningful business insights from data; combines data-derived insights and storytelling techniques to draw an audience in and call them to action
  • HR Operations PMO: Serve as PMO for key annual strategic initiatives demonstrating strong Project Management and Change Management skills and capabilities, executive messaging and utilize effective delivery methods to present and influence key stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement Pipeline: Leverage data and information to identify a pipeline of Continuous Improvement opportunities and co-create CI actions across MyP&O teams utilizing Lean, Six Sigma Methodologies to drive E2E value creation. Manage implementation of continuous improvement projects partnering with stakeholders across the organization inclusive of process documenting and training for key users.
  • Automation Roadmap: Analyze Regional MGS P&O (HR) operating model and service catalog to identify suitable processes/services for which deployment of automation technologies could yield significant business benefit in terms of operating cost, product quality, legal compliance, service experience or Associate engagement.
  • Compliance & Governance: Owns and leads Annual Internal and External Auditing & Remediation for MyP&O.
  • Service Expansion: Evaluate and operationalize new services coming to MyP&O scope; ensure local processes are mapped, discovery to implementation and monitoring. Define localization parameters as required. Take in and align service model for new businesses (eg KIND, Vet Health, etc.)
  • Vendor Management: Drive vendor sourcing and manage collaborative vendor relationships for any local vendor and manage performance of global vendors supporting MyP&O hub.


1. Education & Professional Qualification

  • Minimum qualification: University degree, preferably in HR, Management & Organizations

2. Knowledge/Experience

  • 5-8+ years of work experience, preferably in HR, Shared Services preferred; Data & Analytics or Financial Planning and Analysis skills
  • Familiarity with P&O/HR processes and practices
  • Lean, Six Sigma; Strong process documentation and mapping skills
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, with capability to process large amounts of complex data to drive business strategies and decisions.
  • Experience with analytical and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Experience with Automation, Robotics, AI and transforming business processes at scale and speed.
  • Project Management Capabilities (PMP)
  • Ability to establish relationships in global matrixed environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
