The Connect Marketing team is responsible for driving demand, reputation and revenue for Nielsen. Working hand-in-hand with media relations, internal communications and market intelligence/thought leadership teams, our marketing team ensures all constituents - clients, associates, the industry, shareholders, consumers have a positive perspective on Nielsen. Our Demand Gen team is laser-focused on building new demand for our most strategic investment areas through the creation of targeted account-based marketing strategies, compelling and personalized content, and optimized distribution of multi-channel campaigns.


  • Create highly effective marketing (digital & traditional) plans and content strategies to attract key targeted audiences
  • Develop targeted advertising campaigns to drive leads and maximize conversions
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to create content that nurtures and engages leads into a sales-ready (Marketing Qualified Lead) state
  • Lead, track and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive the highest ROI on our marketing spend
  • Drive continuous improvement through a data-driven approach (eg. testing, optimization, reporting of key success metrics) to ensure key outcomes
  • Drive operational excellence through streamlined marketing automation, processes and workflows across our tech stack (Pardot marketing automation, SalesLoft, Salesforce, etc) to drive best-in-class and innovative marketing strategies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to create and drive our event strategy; including the execution of top industry and Nielsen-owned events

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 6-10 years of B2B experience in a marketing communications role in either a corporate or agency environment.
  • Experience managing up to 3 direct reports
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales/Business development and key leaders to support key business priorities
  • Demonstrates proven success in driving results-oriented content strategies to serve targeted B2B audiences and has a top-notch portfolio of B2B content marketing that demonstrates exceptional communication, writing and project management skills.
  • Has a solid working knowledge of digital marketing tactics and best practices including SEO, PPM/PPC advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, content syndication and the KPIs used to measure effectiveness.
  • Has expertise with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo, etc. and with WordPress, Microsoft Office suite/Google Apps for Work, especially PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Experience in event planning, marketing and execution particularly with trade and industry associations


  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Pardot and/or Salesforce certification and/or experience
  • Graphic design or data visualization experience
  • Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods companies (either retail or manufacturing) and/or having an analytics or technology background
