Primary Purpose:

To handle, transfer and repack liquid, dry and bulk chemicals from tanker trucks, tanks, railcars and portable containers. Load and unload customer trucks, flatbeds and transports as well as handing all warehouse related tasks, inventory and housekeeping aspect of the operation.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse duties as assigned or directed
  • Load and unload trucks, common carriers, railcars and tankers by means of pumps and other transfer methods, warehouse trucks are unloaded forklift and other required equipment/Operating hand tools
  • Ship and receive products according to company's procedures and requirements including DOT regulations.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse, yard, tank farm and overall facility
  • Transfer Hazardous and Non-Hazardous chemicals or waste into appropriate containers, labeling and storage.
  • Sample evaluation, testing and assessing of product quality and correct transfer from tanker, rail or portable vessels to the correct bulk tank, tanker and transport.
  • Communication with drivers, customers and other personnel is a requirement of the position.
  • Perform all other duties as required
  • Comply with all company policies, rules and guidelines

Education/Training:

  • Ability to read, write, count, understands and speaks English

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and securely
  • Ability to wear facial respirators, protective suits and other PPE
  • Test negative on the company's drug tests
  • Able to be exposed to the elements for 90% of time at work
