• Design and develop highly available, low-latency, cloud-native Java applications to enable our clients to access our data and insights in a timely manner.
• Develop highly efficient data access RESTful APIs against data stored Relational and No-SQL databases.
• Analyze and design data models and data production processes by working with a team of data scientists, engineers, and product leaders.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting exercises to keep our system available for our clients.
• Constantly learn and evaluate new technologies/frameworks and actively contribute to growing our Platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with small teams that will lead projects from beginning to end, including working with product management, gathering requirements, brainstorming solutions, building final applications and testing.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering field plus 5+ years of solid software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in Java with deep expertise in Java Collection framework and familiarity with common algorithms.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Knowledge of Spark and Scala will be beneficial.
