Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati's Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Program is searching for Term Adjunct Faculty to provide course instruction.

Essential Functions

Courses vary by semester but may include:

  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy Evaluation and Treatment
  • Functional Anatomy and Kinesiology
  • Pathophysiology
  • Mental Health Evaluation and Intervention in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy Administration and Management
  • Orthotics/Hand Rehabilitation
  • Professional Decision Making/Clinical Reasoning
  • Neuromusculoskeletal Evaluation and Treatment
  • Evaluation and Treatment
  • Research/Evidence-Based Practice

Responsibilities may include course instruction consistent with the accreditation standards of the ACOTE, grading assignments, monitoring student participation, participation in weekly conference calls and office hours, adherence to program and college policies and procedures, and maintaining communication with occupational therapy program faculty, staff, and students.

Minimum Requirements
  • Doctoral degree is preferred, but candidates with a Master's degree will be considered.
  • Three years of occupational therapy clinical experience.
  • Professional credentials in occupational therapy must be in good standing.

Additional Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience, classroom or clinical
  • Computer and Internet literacy
  • Comfort with online instructional methods and ability to work through minor trouble-shooting issues, with or without IT support
