POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Content Creation is responsible for identifying business stories that are in support of our strategy with the dual objective of further solidifying the Greater Cleveland Partnership's unique purpose and brand and building business confidence in the region. This individual will utilize various marketing and communication vehicles and tools to capture success stories, interviews, and testimonials that elevate our objective of building a great region on a Great Lakes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify content (business success stories) that supports the business confidence campaign.
  • Work in collaboration with partners to tell the stories of collaboration and the importance of the all-in mentality and set of values.
  • Develop shareable content (short videos, podcasts, webinars, etc.) that can support and communicate the vision of the campaign.
  • Stay closely connected to success stories across the region and re-broadcast others' stories (from media, partners, industry publications) utilizing tools like the GCP social media and other direct channels.
  • Use direct communications and social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) to build engagement and followership (measured in subscribers and click-throughs)
  • Support creating directed and social communications strategies to members based on designated interests and information
  • Utilize CRM as a primary tool for managing and monitoring member engagement in the organization.
  • Other job-related functions as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline, preferably marketing.
  • 3 - 5 years of business-to-business experience with experience in marketing and communications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Greater Cleveland's business community
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Ability to work with individuals across the organization
  • Ability to develop content in various formats (written, photo, video, etc.)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook required as well as the ability to use a variety of online research software.
