KOINONIA provides residential and vocational services to adults who have developmental disabilities.

The QIDP is responsible for the overall program coordination within each home assigned. Will develop and implement Individual Plans (IP's) that promote self-determination, development and independence of those we serve. Ensures all systems and practices are followed routinely which meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies. Assists staff in performing all responsibilities related to the individual's program services plan. QIDP is jointly responsible with the Residential Supervisor to ensure effective management of the group home.


  • Knowledge of IID regulatory compliance (licensure and Medicaid certification) systems regarding functional assessment and program planning, implementation, documentation and program monitoring and change
  • Ability to maintain an organized approach
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently according to strict timelines

  • Ability to provide training to staff

  • Effective communication skills through verbal, written and reports

  • Ability to coordinate services, both internally and externally

  • Ability to prioritize workload

  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and monitor in all relevant areas

  • Effective use of computer programming systems


  • A Bachelor's or Graduate level degree from an accredited college or university and have at least 3 years of paid, full time (or equivalent part time) experience in developing and/or implementing behavioral support and/or risk reduction strategies or plans.

  • OR hold professional license or certification issued by the Ohio board of psychology; the state medical board of Ohio, or the Ohio counselor, social worker, and marriage and family therapist

  • OR hold a certificate to practice as a certified Ohio behavior analyst pursuant to section 4783.04 of the Revised Code.

  • Demonstrated ability for self-direction in work

  • Ability to apply multi-disciplinary treatment concepts, practices, and theories in creative ways to challenging situations

  • At least three (3) years experience in IID service system

  • Valid Ohio Driver's License; no more than 2 moving violations.

  • Must have vehicle liability insurance
