Danone North America is looking for a Transportation Analyst, CO in Broomfiled, CO.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Transportation Analyst serves as the responsible party for providing analytic insight to the Transportation Operations team and broader Supply Chain organization. The Transportation Analyst will work to identify savings opportunities, generate modeling scenarios, maintain supplier performance metrics, and encourage continuous improvement through fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, improve and update the Danone North America's understanding of transportation performance.
  • Implement and enhance analytic insights pertaining to transportation spend, capacity and service metrics.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving the company's planning and goal-setting processes by leveraging marketplace experience, improved information, integrated systems and superior analytical and modeling methods.
  • Provide the transportation team with timely analytics and fact-based evaluations to make strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Provide financial modeling scenarios to support decision making in wide variety of projects and programs.
  • Develop reporting requirements for transportation operations and strategy, facilitate development with Business Intelligence Team.
  • Perform cost and performance analysis tied to carrier partners.
  • Support development of transportation/supply chain KPI's and regular reporting of results.
  • Collaborate with supply chain functions (Demand Planning, Product Supply, Procurement, Customer Logistics, Warehouse) to deliver transportation objectives.
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge/understanding of SAP-BW technologies, business processes, and Transportation Management Systems.
  • Assist in analysis and data mining for RFQ/RFPs.
  • Assist in identifying and executing savings and productivity initiatives.
  • Work within cross functional teams to execute supply chain and company-wide objectives.
  • Lead and manage special projects, as needed.

Education and Experience (Requirements):

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Transportation, Warehouse or Operations.
  • Experience with SAP desired.
  • Proficient at Power Query/Power Pivot.
  • Demonstrated abilities problem solving and change management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • May require minimal travel due to project requirements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills: MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
