The senior supply chain specialist is our primary liaison for all supply entities that support the North America commercial market. This includes issuance of purchase orders and regular rolling forecasts. Will be frontline contact for each supply source, escalate supply issues as appropriate, own the improvement of the Supplier Performance Management scorecard, develop monthly production forecasts, and reconcile inventory. Collaborate with and ensure the SAP planning system is accurate and updated in compliance with Quality Assurance, Accounting, and Finance. Project management of new initiatives with SAP application and process improvement and standardization.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for North America supply chain tactical operations including: inventory planning, material management, inventory procurement, manage SAP planning and forecasting for assigned portfolio, and processing of all non-inventory purchase orders
  • Manage month-end inventory activities in close cooperation with finance in support of corporate fast close initiative
  • Drive SAP optimization of Lundbeck North America supply planning systems and ensure accurate configuration of SAP planning modules for assigned products
  • Encourage best practices and build more effective workflows with better alignment to global workflows

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree
  • Five years' experience in supply chain or manufacturing
  • Three years' experience material planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process improvements
  • Customer focused and self-motivated
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite skills

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree with technical focus, eg engineering, statistics, math, or technology
  • Pharmaceutical industry supply chain planning


  • Willingness/ability to travel up to 10% domestically. International travel may be required.
