As a Coach you will be instrumental to your partners achieving better transparency, higher accountability and enable them to execute effectively. You will work to establish, accelerate, and hardwire the necessary changes that create a culture of excellence. Coaches effectively collaborate and partner with executive leaders, boards and other partnering entities of education to implement a framework called Evidence-Based Leadership. This framework aligns organizational goals and processes in a way that moves and sustains results. Our coaches work with organizational leaders to focus on strategic priorities, create organizational alignment and consistency of leadership practices to help leaders lead their teams to achieve organizational excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

- Engage with executive leadership teams and boards of education in an effective way to help them achieve desired results

- Build successful client results and relationships to achieve CEO results tracking a score of greater than 3.00 on a 5-point scale

- Facilitate coaching and consulting using technology tools and e-Learning systems

- Demonstrate an understanding of coaching competencies in the following areas: Systems improvement, strategic planning and goal setting, leadership evaluation, leadership development, aligned/prescriptive strategic actions and process improvement/accountability systems - collectively termed Evidence-Based Leadership

- Ensure client implementation and understanding of Evidence-Based Leadership by setting clear expectations for success and developing/implementing a sequenced work plans with all types of clients including higher education, school districts and other educational organizations

- Facilitate and navigate client leaders and their teams as they initiate processes by conducting on-site and online client coaching

- Provide professional high-quality communication and administration to clients to build effective relationships

- Contribute to team by providing intellectual capital and building of an education research and development network

- Assist in advancing and growing the division by collaborating across the practice and the broader Huron organization

- Share coaching skills and lessons learned with Education team members

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Doctoral degree required

- Serve as an executive leader in K12 or higher education institutions or experience consulting with executive leaders.

- Experience with Malcolm Baldrige or other other organizational excellence criteria preferred

- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels in an organization especially with the CEO and senior executives

- Ability to learn and implement Evidence-based Leadership principles communicating them effectively to allow for client growth

- Ability to structure client approach strategically organizing workload to provide reliable follow through and meet deadlines

- Ability to adaptable and flexible to client needs

- Ability to provide excellent client service, being responsive to client needs

- Ability to travel to partner sites (on average 12 - 16 days a month on site when travel resumes)
