Tetra Tech Inc. is currently seeking a Billing Analyst for our Maitland office of the TDR Business Unit. The TDR Business Unit is dedicated to helping state and local governments recover from natural and human-caused disasters. Our team is recognized for its ability to quickly respond to a broad range of emergencies, allowing our clients to return to the business of running their day-to-day operations.

The Billing Analyst represents the Accounting Department and works as a key member of the team, providing full-service support on all billing related functions. The Billing Analyst will edit, prepare, and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. The Analyst will conduct any necessary research to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with client contracts.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and demonstrate ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will also be able to prioritize work and be a self-starter.

Job Responsibilities:

. Review contract terms and conditions as it relates to billing and payments.

. Prepare draft labor and/or expense monthly billing data and verify the draft is complete and accurate for clients in accordance with monthly calendar.

. Audit labor reports, expense reports, and other monthly billing data as required.

. Resolve and track billing issues as they arise working with the project management team.

. Work closely with cross functional organizations to support the timely and accurate investigation and resolution of customer billing issues.

. Respond to customer inquiries to resolve potential issues.

. Other assigned tasks as needed

Ideal candidate will have

. 1-3 years accounting or financial management experience including analysis and accounting reconciliation

. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with tight deadlines is required.

. Strong background in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel

. Data Entry, Data Reconciliation, Cost Calculations

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

. Education: 4 year college degree preferred
