The primary role of the Director of Sales (DOS) is to consistently grow (increase active dealer count, approvals, and contracts) the business profitably by hiring, developing and encouraging a team of Market Area Managers (MAMS) to enroll dealers, get and keep them active, and retain the existing dealer base within their District. This is most often accomplished with excellence when the DOS possesses the necessary knowledge and skills, applies those consistently and often to the Organizational Health model, and does so in a way that is consistent with our core values.
Demonstrated a consistent trend of improved performance which includes examples of learning from mistakes and taking action on training/coaching
The ability to travel 75% of the time
Five (5) plus years of sales management experience in automotive retail or financial services company
Residence in and/or willingness to relocate in the District
Proven results at the MAM level for a minimum of one (1) year, specifically, with consistent growth in active dealers, approvals, and contracts
