The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of accounting and reporting duties in the analysis, preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports in conformity to Bank Policies and Federal Regulatory procedures, IFRS and US GAAP . He/She also prepares regulatory reports required to be filed with bank regulator on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. He/She is involved in new accounting/finance projects, updating policies and procedures.

Key Accountability:

  • Prepare and/or review US Regulatory Reports on behalf of Houston Branch in accordance with Federal Reserve Bank and Treasury International Capital requirements and deadlines. Perform analytical review to ensure the accuracy and reasonability of the reports.
  • Prepare and/or review journal entries and other duties for month end/quarter end closing; perform GL reconciliation and variance analysis as needed.
  • Support the preparation of regulatory and financial reporting activities including gathering, providing, reconciling and testing back-up documentations.
  • Assist in preparing and performing analysis of monthly income statements, balance sheet statements and financial statements for the Branch.
  • Assist with the audits ( quality assurance, internal, external and Federal Reverse Bank of Dallas/New York ) for the Branch .
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor degree in Accounting with solid accounting and financial background; CPA/MBA is a plus.

5 - 10 years of related working experience, preferably working experience in banking/financial industry, and/or public accounting; AXIOM experience will be a plus.

Strong analytical skill and internal control mindset.
