Prestigious Enterprise Company is seeking a new cyber security team lead to spearhead the expansion and maturation of our Applications Security program. You will play a key role in partnering with Application Development teams to drive secure coding practices, requirements, and remediation for new and existing development efforts. The focus will be on ensuring that applications and websites developed here are deployed and maintained in a secure manner while expanding the Application Security program.

Required qualifications:

  • proven knowledge and experience with SAST/DAST, secure coding standards, developer education, integration/automation of code analysis (CI/CD)
  • solid experience identifying, rating, and mitigating secure code deficiencies for applications and websites
  • extensive understanding of application security vulnerabilities and standards (OWASP)
  • proven experience with secure code analysis and scanning solutions, automation, and integration into development processes
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field + direct professional experience in an Information Security Program
  • OR, Master's degree in a technical field + direct professional experience in information technology
  • >2 years of lead experience
  • strong verbal and written facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge and experience to complete all job responsibilities (listed below)


  • analyze and define security policies and standards
  • participate in projects and assessments on risk
  • monitors, alerts and responds to security events
  • performs computer forensic and investigative activities
  • performs penetration and vulnerability testing
  • defines and administers identity and access roles and workflows
  • develops and communicates secure application development standards
  • build relationships with application developers and other stakeholders
  • drives the expansion of secure code scanning and analysis solutions
  • aids development personnel in understanding and mitigation of secure code deficiencies
  • creates and delivers reports and metrics for identified security deficiencies
