QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills:
10 years of project and/or program management experience
10 years within the Financial Services and IT industry required
PMP certification suggested
10 years working in SDLC and Agile project development environments
Expert in MS Office suite including MS Project, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Clarity Project Management experience
10 years 403(b) & 401k Recordkeeping knowledge
Previous TIAA Project Management Experience suggested
Scope: Lead Project Manager for a highly visible IT Project. This role will provide project management across an IT Strategic initiative directly aligning to Institutional IT for a single outcome. The Project Manager is accountable to senior leadership for project schedule, budget, analysis and quality. The candidate acts as the single point for project communications to executive sponsors and program steering committee, including escalation as needed. Previous project management experiences a plus.

Previous project management and knowledge of IT Applications experiences a plus. Also responsible for:
  • Schedule Management: Creates project plans and high level schedule, providing the basis for the individual project plans; Identifies dependencies, milestones, and critical paths; Manages project according to plan.
  • Cost Management: Monitors and manages project costs; Develops project budgets to account for variances and ensure accuracy; review and assess budgets with senior management.
  • Communication Management: Manages stakeholder and project team communications; Reviews project performance and status reports; Consolidates reports into overall project-level reports.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identifies project level risks and issues; Escalates risks and issues to Steering Committee as needed; provides recommendations for issue resolution; Updates and manages Project Risk and Issue Log;
  • Implementation and Transition Management: Monitors and controls implementation and transition activities to meet business requirements; Identifies lessons learned from the project and its projects.
  • Dependencies and Integration: Identifies and analyzes staffing/resource plans; training programs; manages dependencies and interdependencies between IT and Business Units; Integrates project plans across projects; Creates Program Management Plan.
  • Benefits Management: Working with stakeholders throughout the project, develops and tracks project benefits realization; Reviews benefits achieved at each project close with stakeholders.
