A prestigious company is on the search for an IT Developer Internet to Things. This role is revolved around being responsible for application development, configuration, and support of the client's tools to support manufacturing plant operations. For this role you will need to have knowledge of sensors/IoT connectivity, IoT platforms, data acquisition and data historians. Overall this role will be responsible for technical design, ongoing configuration, testing, and maintenance of IoT applications.


  • Help drive the technical design, ongoing configuration, testing, and maintenance of IOT applications (new deployments and enhancements)
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Kepware, Canary Historian and ThingWorx platforms
  • Provide production support
  • Create support documentation (design documents, training materials, job aids, etc.)
  • Ultimately, you will be a vitally important team member in our Digital Manufacturing Group and help Company Consumer Products succeed by leveraging data at our manufacturing sites.

We need you to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in software project delivery in manufacturing environments
  • Experience with VMWare environments, Networking, operating systems, database SQL and PTC ThingWorx development
  • Knowledge of sensors/IoT connectivity, IoT platforms, data acquisition and Data Historians
  • Experience with software design methodologies
  • Proficiency in software QA practices and testing tools
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience using SAP
  • Prior experience working in operations related field, eg, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing
