Our Company has one exciting mission:.*To Entertain The Human Race.*.*PRIMARY PURPOSE:* The Assistant Manager Entertainment Showroom & Ticket Sales will assist in managing front of house operational functions for assigned theaters, showrooms, and property ticket sales in alignment with the strategic vision for the Entertainment Center of Excellence (CoE). This position will partner closely with the Manager(s) Entertainment Showroom & Ticket Sales to ensure the delivery of guest service that aligns with the Company's core service standards and will continue to build and strengthen relationships with both show partners and property partners..*PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* + Manage property ticket sales and box offices for assigned venues, maintain two-way dialogue with corporate ticketing on inventory and yield management + Manage front of house operations for showrooms, theaters, and other property events; maintain solid and professional relationship with show partners + Manage Human Resources responsibilities to include: create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the Company's diversity commitment + Drive employee engagement and guest experience through coaching, training and development; develop, lead, and maintain training programs for frontline teams to enhance service standards and guest experience + Assist in managing departmental budgeting/forecasting and supporting documentation for both management, show partner, and client review + Assist in managing talent, show partner, and client relationships and provide continued support as needed + Perform other job related duties as requested.*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:* + Operational understanding of accounting and finance + Ability to supervise employees and provide direction for the specific venue. + Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms + Able to lead and mentor a team + Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment + Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail + Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:* + High school diploma or equivalent + Two (2) years of related experience + Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.*PREFERRED:* + Associate degree in a related field; or equivalent education and experience + Three (3) years of management experience in ticketing operations or a box office role + Three (3) years of experience in a ticketing or box office role + Experience with budgeting, profit and loss statements + Experience working in a similar resort setting + Experience managing multiple employees in a fast paced environment MGM Resorts International is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
