*Job Description Summary* GE Healthcare has a need for a new Manufacturing Program Leader in Milwaukee. This is a great opportunity for an Engineer with experience in manufacturing to utilize Project Management and Operational skills. Familiarity with Medical Devices would be helpful but not essential. Familiarity with the transfer of technical processes and equipment is at the core of this new position. This position will be for an individual contributor and involve planning and execution duties with guidance. This role will support the ramp of multiple pack production lines from one local location to another..*Job Description*.*Roles and Responsibilities* + Manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require 4 year degree. Primarily tactical responsibilities. This does not include general administrative work. + Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. + Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market + Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. + Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues..*Required Qualifications* + Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering + Minimum 5 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management; OR minimum 3 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management and completion of Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) + Experience in logistics or supply chain modelling & simulation..*Desired Characteristics* + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
