The Headlines :

In the role of Legal Analyst - Procurement working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America Legal team. You will be a leader in the implementation of Molson Coors Beverage Company's processes to ensure effective negotiation and proper execution of commercial contracts for Procurement Team.

The Responsibilities :

  • Partner with members of the Procurement Team to understand their goals and the business opportunities and risks that the Procurement Team has identified in connection with those goals; identify legal risks associated with those goals and apprise the Procurement Team of those risks.
  • Support the Procurement Team in the negotiation and drafting of contracts and ancillary documents with vendors to ensure that goals are met while keeping the Asst General Counsel - Legal Ops & Procurement apprised of any outsized risks.
  • Periodically reevaluate existing contract templates and processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials to educate colleagues about the use of, and periodic revisions to, contract templates.

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a J.D. degree and 6 years of legal or paralegal experience, or you have a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience, in either case in both a law firm setting and an in-house legal department with a complex international corporate structure and multiple lines of business. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision in a deadline driven environment while managing multiple, competing priorities and maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • You are deadly serious about results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering, but you also have a sense of humor and enjoy getting to know your colleagues.
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships.
