SUMMARY: Oversee onsite production support for entertainment with a focus on national entertainers. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.


Coordinate internal/external production aspects of entertainment (ie advancing/obtaining presale technical information - production needs, rider requirements, staging and capacity changes) and event payments

Liaison with local contractors, vendors and tours

Help identify potential tours and shows and assist with negotiating contracts and technical requirements

Manage concert/private events from load in to load out, with an emphasis on artist/client service, adherence to time schedules, sound restrictions and cost containment ensuring safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, lifts and rigging

Manage approved subcontractors and third party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful events

Responsible for all A/V and entertainment inventory, perform audits and assist with forecasting equipment needs and planning projects

Stay current with audio, video and lighting trends for live events and recommend new and innovative equipment to improve the quality and efficiency of productions

Lead the entertainment department in the absence of the Entertainment Manager

Provide technical and operational expertise in all facets of A/V for the property


Knowledge and Certification


2-year degree in music or live Production or related field; and 2 years experience.

4 years of experience as a Production Manager, promoter rep, road manager or event coordinator or an equivalent combination; general venue operations knowledge preferred



Accurate and detail-oriented

Strong organizational skills

Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Strong mechanical aptitude



Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene

Ability to work well under pressure and time restraints

Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner

Ability to independently or as a team to complete multiple tasks

Ability to serve both internal and external customers

Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair specialized equipment

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Ability to self-motivate as well as the aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
