About the role

We currently have an opportunity for Assistant Account Executive with our successful Corporate Marine Practice Perth, where you will provide high level support for this specialist team. This is a fantastic entry level opportunity if you are seeking exposure to insurance broking.

This will involve:

  • Administration support on new business and renewal policies
  • Daily correspondence via phone and email with clients, brokers, underwriters and other key stakeholders with some face to face contact with major clients
  • Managing and maintaining the debtor process and internal audit process
  • Ensuring internal databases and relevant systems are kept up to date and accurate

Please note this role will initially be offered as a 12-month contract, with potential to extend.

About you

In order to be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Tertiary qualification, ideally in Commerce, Economics, Finance or Actuary
Commitment to client service excellence
Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
Willingness to learn and positively contribute to team
Strong computer skills including advanced excel
