Integrated Logistics Manager-Individual Weapons

We are looking for the ideal candidate with extensive knowledge and experience providing program acquisition logistics recommendations, program coordination and guidance to provide support in all logistics activities including preparation of program documents as required for Milestone "C" Decisions (ie, UID Plan, Fielding Logistics Modernization Plan (LMP), Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS), Type Classification, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, ILS certifications, etc.), small arms provisioning, support equipment and tools specific to small arms, technical manual development as well as validation and verification of the same, small arms requirements on packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and development of small arms new equipment training. Seeking a professional with experience in working the 12 integrated Product Support elements (IPSE) as defined in the AR 700-127 with additional activities spelled out in the associated DA PAM - done all the work necessary to develop and staff a life cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP). Need a take charge individual to assist the PM.

Responsibilities

-Provided in support of research and development, production and fielding of small calibre ammunition, weapon systems, and accessories.
-Provide technical program acquisition related recommendations and direct oversight pertaining to projects in support of PM Soldier Weapons related accessory and support equipment programs throughout their life cycle.
-Support the Test IPT in development of test plans as well as presentation/reporting of test activities and data.
-Provide support in all acquisition logistics activities including preparation of program documents as required for pre-Milestone "C" Decisions (ie, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, ILS certifications, UID Plan, BOIP, Type Classification, Fielding DPAS & LMP, Disposal Plan, etc.), acquisition requirement plans (ARP)s, support equipment and tools specific to small arms, Logistics Task Analysis, technical manual development as well as validation and verification of the same, small arms requirements on packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and development of small arms new equipment training.

Qualifications

-A minimum of 5 years' of experience in the US Army logistics process as it relates to individual weapon systems.
-Knowledge of Army Regulations (eg, AR 700-127) and the documentation requirements for DoD Milestones, Type Classification, and Materiel Release (AR 700-142) is required.
-Familiarization with Class V Ammunition of all types, bombs, explosives, mines, fuses, detonators, pyrotechnics, missiles, rockets, propellants, and associated items and Class VII Major end items such as launchers, tanks, mobile machine shops, some parachute systems and vehicles supplies.
-Extensive military background is desired to understand the logistics implications at both the Soldier and Unit level.
-Extensive acquisition logistics, experience working the twelve (12) Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements
-Previous experience with ACAT-4 and Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRC) acquisitions
-Effective written and verbal communication
