We are looking for a well-connected, innovative and enthusiastic Business Development Director to generate new business opportunities in event branding and experiences, a director who will embrace the fast faced and culturally diverse company.

What Youll Be Doing:
Leading on Business Development for CSM Live North America; you will grow new clients, agency and creative contacts.
Nurture new clients into longer term profitable relationships, particularly relating to large-scale sporting events.
Pursue organic business growth opportunities, and support those already established.
Lead on pitch opportunities from your clients and from wider CSM group (with support from the wider teams including: operations, experiential and account management).
Work with the NA Managing Director and the wider Global Commercial Team on delivering commercial business strategy, client reviews, and commercial reporting.
Develop a complete understanding of core and prospective client needs.
Take ultimate responsibility for revenue generation and securing local and/or national deals.
Active use of Salesforce to provide continuous information flow on all client activity.
Attend industry leaderships events and actively network with an eye to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities.

The Skills and Experience You Need:
Professional attitude with a proven track record of new business development & client servicing within US & Canada
Demonstrate an understanding of and a passion for big brands within sports, entertainment, media, lifestyle, F&B, retail, and tech
Ability to procure top-level client relationships ; Existing relationships preferred
Embodies CSM Lives culture, extraordinary level of service, and intense dedication to going the extra mile
Excellent communication & presentation skills
A drive and enthusiasm to promote CSM Live and win new business
Self-starter, entrepreneurial, willing to try things he/she hasnt done before
Excellent PC skills in Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint and associated presentation software
Hungry to succeed - you'll love the buzz of winning and the fast paced environment CSM Live offers
Leader with strong ability to self-motivate
Able to juggle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines
5-8+ years' experience in similar environment
Travel and weekend work, as needed
