Develop trusted partnerships with product attorneys, senior managers across GLS, business Risk & Control and Regulatory Reform and Transformation teams, and partners across Institutional Services Group/O&T
Direct and lead ongoing and new remediation efforts impacting ICG Legal and the businesses ICG Legal supports
Identify areas of need, and design and implement successful process changes for ICG Legal, including with a focus on the implementation of technology changes
Legal degree with 10+ years of experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the experience and motivation to lead projects end-to-end that involve collaborating with multiple stakeholders across business and functions, and the skills to be a trusted partner to the GLS Senior Management Team, the ICG Legal Management Committee and senior members of the business and other functions. As such, the role requires unparalleled analytical skills, the ability to synthesize complex concepts across a broad range of products and subjects including technical legal regulations, a proven ability to successfully facilitate and execute change, and the ability to act as both a collaborator and vision-setter. Exceptional organizational and management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely, and to work both independently and with all levels of seniority is required. Experience with multi-jurisdictional legal initiatives, including remediation projects, is preferred (eg, LIBOR, QFC, DSFT).
