You'll conduct full life cycle analysis, including requirements, activities and design, while monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify opportunities for improvement. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
  • Build analysis and reporting capabilities and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • 2 years of experience in the Data Analytics function
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, etc.)
  • Technical expertise related to data models, data design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution or manufacturing
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
