Job SummaryThis role will provide analyses and forecasts of private label and co-brand credit card portfolio performance to support internal partners, as well as support other initiatives such as client contract pricing, promotional pricing, file performance tracking, and ad-hoc projects as needed. They will do this with a disciplined data-driven approach and a strong understanding of portfolio profitability. Role may lead other associates in the department.Essential Job Functions
  • Lead analysis and forecasting of financial performance and modeling for new business deals and contract renewals. Prepares analyses, findings, and/or recommendations to be shared with senior leaders.
  • Manage 1-2 analysts or sr. analysts by training, providing regular feedback, delegating work, establishing goals, assisting with development plans, and assisting in the corrective action process as necessary.
  • Analyzes client performance and trends to identify opportunities to optimize profit. Is engaged in client discussions, and assists with the identification of objectives and success metrics. Shares findings and best practices with peers and management.
  • Lead in compiling and analyzing profit and loss statements (P&Ls) of numerous verticals. Analyzes and understands company financial statements.
  • Initiates and leads various pricing-related projects and ad hoc assignments. May lead their own project, or manage projects assigned to direct reports.
  • Ensures support and maintenance of key reports used to analyze financial performance. Reviews contracts and ensures compliance with modeled intentions.
  • Leads research of competitor information and client specific research while communicating cross-functionally as needed.
Education RequirementsBachelor s degree in Finance or related field; OR equivalent education and/or experience. Master s degree is preferred.Work Experience
  • 6-8 years of work experience in financial analysis background, preferably experience in Credit, Banking or Financial Services
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • SQL coding and Essbase skills preferred
  • MicroStrategy experience preferred

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)Excellent verbal/written communication skills
