Responsible for the overall direction, evolution and completion of customer-specific projects and programs according to strict deadlines and within budget while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. This role will ensure that customer and business expectations are satisfied through the coordination of development and production activities by managing program requirements and customer expectations, leveraging proven methods as well as developing novel approaches and then successfully executing the agreed-upon program and project plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

Manage customer-specific programs and projects to meet strategic and operational business requirements.
Define the overall objectives of the projects and program in collaboration with the customer and key stakeholders.
Devise and execute appropriate management tactics to ensure that all required program launch activities and quality planning activities take place during the development of the program.
Establish project work plans to meet all project targets including program costs, schedules and timing, customer requirements and risks.
Ensure project team is responsible for all disciplines, team success and the results of each team member.
Establish and manage program budget to attain overall profitability, revenue and margin.
Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the program and projects.
Accountable for all program deliverables.
Assure all company policies are followed including personnel matters, hazardous waste, product liability, and other corporate compliance issues within areas of responsibility.

CONTACTS (Internal and External)

Extensive contact with all internal areas of WA as well as contact with program and project stakeholders including customers and vendors.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Carry out direct and indirect supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Key development drivers include:

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a preference for a degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management plus professional certification or advanced degree. 5 - 10 years of program and project management leadership experience.

Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write proposals using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management, customers and other program stakeholders.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have knowledge of related business systems software; Strong computer software skills required (word processing, spreadsheet, and project management tools).
