Job Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Learning Management Systems (LMS) Analyst who delivers operational and technical leadership and is accountable for the identification, planning, integration, design, and testing of platform functionality to support business training teams and administrators. The LMS Analyst develops the implementation strategy to support all business-training teams and the ongoing maintenance of the LMS. The Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst is responsible for the functional and technical analysis, implementation, customization and support of all internal LMS instances. The analyst reports to the LMS lead and/or director of learning to support the LMS platform strategic plan and ensures all aspects of its functionality, policies and procedures are maintained. This position requires strong collaboration with the end-users, Learning Teams, Technology Teams and vendor partners.
  • Leads and serves as the primary technical support contact for business administrators and trainers.
  • Tests all eLearning programs to ensure compliance with SCORM, AICC, API and all future technical standards.
  • Uses project management and consultation skills to support and guide LMS business teams with administration roles on best practices for aligning training to end-users.
  • Uses HTML coding to create customized sites and documentation repositories.
  • Analyzes all learning formats and integrates the best practices to support ILT, vILT, and eLearning through the application of adult learning theories and principles.
  • Develops and executes the implementation strategies and plans for all new administrators and business teams to ensure compliance with learning governance and all LMS policies and procedures.
  • Creates and executes custom and ad-hoc reports to support compliance, audits and oversight needs.
  • Develops all relevant job-aid documentation to support the LMS functionality and capabilities, and keeps all documentation up-to-date.
  • Evaluates the impact of LMS vendor enhancements and releases to determine the impacts on end-users and administrators.
  • Ensures high-level end user satisfaction by addressing or resolving concerns and issues to meet service level agreements.
  • Maintains up-to-date industry knowledge and a high degree technical expertise on learning management systems best practices, tools and resources.
  • Serves as the primary contact between the LMS technical support team and IS team to ensure the platform experiences minimal technical outage.
  • Works in collaboration with IS teams to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve technical issues.
  • Trains all new and existing administrators to ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures.
  • Analyzes and reports LMS usage to communicate return on investment and expectation to supports the value statement.
  • Supports other technical applications used by Learning, such as SharePoint sites.
  • Analyzes technical platform changes and presents solutions to mitigate significant impacts to the LMS platform.
  • Maintains a user-centric a focus to design and respond to end-user.
