Regional Marketing Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with a regional group of hospitals to implement marketing plans with the primary goal of acquiring new patients. You will also be responsible for supporting patient retention programs and local marketing outreach activities. In this role, you will build partnerships with hospital leadership, support center marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with external vendors and internal marketing team members on behalf of your assigned hospitals.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting hospital revenue growth through the implementation of customer acquisition, retention and awareness marketing strategies;
  • Establishing relationships with hospital management staff and collaborating with hospital teams to meet objectives;
  • Understanding and monitoring local hospital markets including competition, local market data, local pet owner resources and activities, and geographic makeup;
  • Developing local hospital level marketing plans based on an established strategy;
  • Contributing to the generation of creative ideas based on strategic directions to drive results-oriented hospital marketing campaigns;
  • Maintaining and executing seasonal marketing and promotional calendars;
  • Working closely with digital marketing and campaign marketing teams to execute on the hospital level marketing plans to achieve measurable objectives;
  • Understanding the unique triggers for driving new patient acquisition to assist in meeting strategic goals;
  • Managing marketing budgets for hospitals including monitoring spend against total plan;
  • Updating existing budget against spend on a weekly basis;

Specific job requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree - Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience
  • Must exhibit creative thinking and be able to build relationships
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously are required;
  • Travel to hospital sites periodically throughout the year (10% to 20% of the time);
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, able to provide complex information in a digestible way is required;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
