Description:.*Title: Product Support Engineer 4*.*Position: AS20200909-50383*.*Location: Plano, TX*.*Job Description:* As a.*Product Support Engineer 4,* you will lead collaboration and coordination efforts with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines, resulting in increased yields and resolving issues that may arise during production builds, product testing, and the integration of our industry-leading radar and electronic warfare products and systems. This position supports the Advanced Systems & Technologies (AS&T) division, which specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS/UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience..*Essential Functions:* + Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration + Create and present effective metrics to measure production test flow and yields + Leadership of failure analysis and subsequent root cause determination and implementation of corrective actions + Interface with supply chain and supplier to resolve production issues + Partnering in the development of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and procedures + Lead design disciplines to troubleshoot, failure analysis and root cause determination and subsequent corrective actions + Troubleshoot hardware issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA) and component level, including analog, digital, power and RF circuitry + Direct reviews of LabView-based test set hardware and software to increase test-time efficiency + Address electrical component parts management issues raised by obsolescence or other component technical alerts. + Identify and implement circuit card assembly and subassembly design updates + Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications:*.*Required Skills and Experience* + U.S. citizen + Able to obtain a DoD clearance and obtain additional clearances as required + BSEE degree + Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting production and test of high technology electrical systems and sub-systems in a production environment + Extensive troubleshooting of complex hardware issues at CCA, subassembly, and system level + Previous design experience with analog, digital, RF and/or mixed signal circuit design and analysis + Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations + Knowledge of and experience in proposing and implementing engineering change notices + Production issue resolution experience with suppliers and sub-tier suppliers + Technical writing and formal presentation experience + Proficient with Microsoft Office products + Able to travel 10% to support field testing.*Preferred Skills and Experience:* + Master's degree + Experience performing electrical engineering design of circuit card assembly, RF Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystem including; circuit design, electrical test and production support + Familiarity with RF transmitters & receivers, data links, power supplies, processors, FPGAs, heatsinking, memory + Knowledge of printed circuit board layout and fabrication, circuit card assembly processes + Understanding of LabView and TestStand test methodology and programming + Experience with any of the following tools: PADS Dx Designer, PSPICE, LTSPICE, MATLAB, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST) + Excellent people skills, experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment + Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success + Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation) + Strong analytical capability, and good organizational skills Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
