Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs. LLC seeks a Senior Developer at our Plano, TX location to be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.

Expectations and Tasks:

Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others in resolving issues. Initiate and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Work closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success. Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Possess advanced overall product and technical knowledge and share expertise within and across team and organization. Possess advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards. Responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as required. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Team's progress.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 6 years of experience required . Will accept a Master s degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience:

Experience must include 4 years in the following: ABAP programming language; Object Oriented programming concepts; design and development of software solutions for Oil & Gas Upstream business focused on SAP Production and Revenue Accounting and SAP Upstream Operations Management; SAP Product Lifecycle Management User Interface (UI) framework; Agile software development and scrum methodology; and SAP HANA In-memory database.
