We are seeking a Senior Technical Data Analyst, with a heavy focus on Machine Learning and Data Science who will be responsible for optimizing our ML driven personalized customer experiences across Intuit's Customer Success Platforms.


Data Science:

  • Remain up-to-date on machine learning research and trends, challenge current best thinking, test theories, evaluate feature concepts and iterate rapidly
  • Collaborate in the development and evaluation of machine learning models/predictive analytics techniques leveraging both repeatable patterns in structured and unstructured data and discovering new trends that lead to customer experience improvements and cost reductions
  • Own the full flow of very challenging data problems starting with data discovery/collection/cleaning/labeling through the implementation/evaluation of resilient models that can perform using noisy real-world data, owning the deliverables and managing the priorities/timelines
  • Experience with NLP/NLU and implementing SOTA frameworks and embeddings(Bert/Elmo)

Data Analytics:

  • Discover data sources, get access to them, import them, clean them up, and make them machine learning ready .
  • Perform analyses that inform decisions on product/customer experience using predictive and descriptive analytical techniques
  • Deliver key metrics, and ad-hoc analyses with interpretation, contributing to the development of hypotheses and actions.
  • Work with the stakeholders to develop learning strategies with recommendations of analytics approaches to address questions or validate hypotheses, such as A/B testing
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering with an emphasis on Machine Learning
  • Strong combination of theoretical knowledge and hands -on experience in data labeling, data mining, feature selection, dimensionality reduction, statistical techniques, regression analysis, and machine learning/deep learning algorithms
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing and evaluating deep learning and machine learning models on real-world structured and unstructured data
  • Knowledgeable with Data Science tools and frameworks (ie Python, Scikit, NLTK, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, Spark).
  • Solid fundamentals with knowledge of machine learning/deep learning algorithms, classification, clustering, regression, reinforcement learning, CNN, RNN, probability theory, and algorithm design
  • Mastery of natural language processing and text analytics (BiLSTM, LDA, word2vec, doc2vec, fasttext, etc.)
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus with teams
  • Understanding of complex data ecosystems, best practices and ability to put this knowledge into action
  • Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
  • Excellent problem solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking
  • Experience with integrating applications and platforms with cloud technologies (ie AWS and GCP)
